This is my second time visiting, and I am in love with the install. She is so patient and made sure I was comfortable. Shay is a perfectionist, each step of the install was done to my satisfaction and she made sure the installation was perfect before I left. I’ve received so many compliments and can’t wait to come back xx

Ive been meaning to leave this review since i left the LaidByShay Salon 4 weeks ago. Great experience! I always do my own hair as I don’t trust anyone else, but LaidByShay DID HER THANG! Talented is an understatement. I felt so comfortable the whole time and most of all I left feeling sooo good about my hair. I will for sure be back! I had an amazing time with this her! A beautiful spirit and an amazing stylist. She really cares about making you feel you best. Talks you through the entire process. She provides entertainment, good conversation, snacks and all. Looking forward to my touch up and working with her again on new installs.

If your looking for a serioussss stylist it’s LAIDSHAY !!! From beginning to end the professionalism was just so tantalising. She goes the extra mile to ensure you experience the best ever customer service ensuring comfort and needs are met. I also really loved the fact that she explained everything she was doing before she did it this made me feel safe and I also gained understanding of the process which actually helped a lot with after care. Talking about after care She goes the extra mile to provide service in the chair and outside of it dropping an after care guide to make sure maintenance is not an issue. Understanding, vibes , appreciation anddd professionalism is exactly why you need to get yourself in her chair sis !! Honestly the best install I’ve ever had 10/10 ❤️🧏🏽‍♀️ Go get laid by shay !

Laidbyshay did her thing once again. I loved my instil from the beginning to the end. Her customer service was beyond amazing. She made me comfortable the whole appointment even offering snacks throughout. I got my install done for my holiday and I was worried it might lift due to me going swimming. However, that was far from the opposite. My hair was laid for the duration of the holiday, even went to beach and my hair got soaked many times. I can’t thank shay enough for making me feel confident with my hair. I can’t wait to come back for my reinstall.

This was my first time getting an install and I absolutely loved it. Shay made me feel comfortable every step of the way. She also provided snacks and drinks, customer service was top tier and I would definitely be booking with her again and recommending her to other people.

Best hair salon experience ever!! So lovely and very welcoming, provided drinks, food and entertainment which was brilliant Couldn’t of been more happy with the results So excited to come back!!!

Shay made me feel like a princess throughout. She was so professional and kept me involved in the whole process by explaining what she was doing and why. She also asked me my opinion ever step of the way. There was a snack cart too! Which was so helpful because I started feeling hungry haha. Usually I feel anxious when trying someone new but this was such a pleasurable experience and I will be returning.

It was my first wig so I was nervous of what it was gonna look like but shay literally went through it step by step & made sure I understood everything.Her vibes were immaculate and good I highly recommend booking with shay y’all!!

Shay is everything you want from a hairstylist- extremely polite, welcoming, kind, humours, attentive and very passionate about her work. I first got in contact with Shay back in December when I was recommended to her by a friend. I had a work event coming up and despite being fully booked, I was impressed with how she was able to squeeze me in last minute. The whole duration of the appointment, the service provided was absolutely brilliant- Shay was lovely, made sure I was comfortable, offered drinks and snacks and kept checking I was happy with my install. I left her studio feeling very pretty and the compliments I received were insane!! The install lasted over 3 weeks and did not shift whatsoever. The aftercare guide she sent following on the appointment was extremely helpful for someone like myself who has never had a wig professionally installed. Fast forward, I booked her again for a second install and once again, left her studio a very happy customer. The wig was installed exactly how I wanted it, baby hairs laid with no crumbs left and the hair still looks good 2 weeks later. If you’re looking for a hairstylist who truly puts their clients first, communicates effectively and listens to what you want then Shay is your girl! 10/10 service- will be returning and highly recommend to everyone.

Shay is just brilliant ! This was my first wig so I didn’t know what to expect but she spoke me through every step and gave me constant reassurance of what she was doing and why she was doing it. She’s so friendly and makes you feel comfortable ! It wasn’t awkward at all. But the outcome ????? BOMB. The compliments I’ve received are immense like the install is absolutely gorgeous not a single hair out of place. IM IN LOVE😍😍😍I will 110% be back no doubt about it.

The experience was just amazing. Shay herself was so lovely, friendly, attentive and professional I couldn’t be happier with the service. Shay has her own studio so it was great to have a private space which was so nicely decorated, perfect temperature and clean. We even watched TV shows which kept me entertained (alongside Shays amazing warm personality). Before during and after the appointment Shay offered me snacks and drinks which bought such a personal touch to the appointment. She talked me through what and how she was doing and the products used and their purposes which I thought was great. The install itself was not to be played with, the lace looks like part of my skin and it feels so secure I already know it will last longer than I need it. It looked amazing, I could not stop looking at my hair in the mirror I was and still am in love with it! I cannot wait for her to slay my hair again, 10/10

Ashanna is literally the greatest gift from above. I’ve never gotten my hair done by someone else and she set the bar highhhh and made my experience incredible. I couldn’t stop smiling 😂 I have to mention she was able to accommodate for me coming from overseas, which I was so grateful for. My install has been intact for almost a week- I’ve washed it, gone to the gym and it hasn’t lifted.The best conversation, the best personality and the kindest lady. 100% book again.

i got my hair LaidbyShay had such good conversations found out we have so much in common. even with my fear of heat and hot combs 🤣 she worked will with me and was reassuring. i also had leave in curls and when i took them out they were flawless!!

Great service, Great customer service ! I felt like I knew Shay for years the way we spoke. She made and laid my wig like a goddess. I couldn’t get the wig off I literally had to put my head u see the shower to lift the wig. Definitely my go to stylist!!!

I initially got my hair installed for my birthday two weeks ago and absolutely loved my install!!! I even came back for a touch just for me to fall in love with my hair all over again. Best Uk hairstylist!! Her customer service is unmatched I’ve never felt so welcomed! Her professionalism is 10/10. As for my install where do I begin…my hair is LAID,such a beautiful install with lovely slick baby hairs just how I like.. this install has lasted over 3 and a half weeks! And I still looking fresh I’m obsessed and can’t wait to book in for my next install.

Where do I even start! Shay’s work literally speaks for itself. I saw a few posts on her hair page on Instagram and was convinced almost instantly! She is very passionate about her work and she gives it her all. She takes her time with her work and makes sure everything is done just the way her clients want it. This install is the best I’ve ever had, and I’m still so obsessed with just everything – the colour, the fluffy edges, just everything! Shay also provides very good customer service. She makes sure you have the best experience. She also makes sure your hair is done perfectly and is an expert in her craft, you will not be disappointed when you leave the chair. The hair is beautiful still in stack lace as not moved an inch since I had it installed in love with the edges .Very friendly and wonder customer service ,even finished the install 20 before the due time. 100000% would recommend defo coming back!

I booked with Shay for a frontal wig installation. She was absolutely amazing, professional and kind. She made me feel very comfortable, which helped as I’m a shy person at times and was checking up on me throughout. Excellent. After unforeseen circumstances I needed a same day emergency appointment, Laidbyshay went above n beyond to give me the best service with a perfect finish even with very little notice ! Definitely will be coming back , loved the finish and service. After 5 days on Holiday, hair is still laid !

I booked Laidbyshay for a re-install (after previously going to her for a wig making and install service) and all I can say is that she never disappoints! She made me feel extremely comfortable and made sure that I didn’t leave unless I was 100% happy especially as I was trying out a new parting. If you’re thinking of booking with her definitely do. Honestly too much to be impressed about, from the polite customer service, to making me feel comfortable at the appointment, always over delivering what I ask for, you will not be disappointed! I got my latest wig installed for a hott holiday and it didn’t budge, I then took it to a 2 day wireless weekend and it was still laid. Shay is honestly the best!

I got my hair done 2 days before i went on holiday and it stayed laid the whole 10 days. I was in the club everyday and considering the amount of bodies, heat and dancing you think it would’ve budged. NOT AT ALL. Absolutely loved the hair style

Booked Laidbyshay for my first curly wig. Honestly such a lovely experience overall.
